Roan Creek Campground is a campground located in Butler, Tennessee near Watauga Lake offering RV sites, cabin rentals, glamping tents, and tent sites.
Cardens Bluff Campground is open for the 2024 season. At nearly 2,000 feet elevation, Cardens Bluff Campground is located on a peninsula overlooking the 6,430-acre Watauga Lake in Carter County, TN. There are 43 sites, primarily for tent camping. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets. No electrical hookups are provided. Day use areas are located nearby for those wanting to take advantage of swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities. Campground Hosts are on site to answer questions and assist with your visit.
Plumtree Campground and Retreat is an off-the-beaten-path property for hikers, bikers, campers, adventurers, parkway goers, mountain lovers, fishermen, and skiers/snowboarders. We look forward to having you stay with us.
We have 6 full service “tiny home” cabins with full kitchens and bathrooms inside as well as 4 “camping” cabins that have electricity but no plumbing (guests use our clean bath house) for the budget minded.
We have 4 Premium River Sites with decks, 3 Regular River Sites, and 5 Interior Pull Through RV sites.
Located along 1600 ft of the North Toe River, Buck Hill Campground is the perfect place for families to relax and play! We offer sixty-nine large shady RV sites, each equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and full hookups with 20, 30, and 50 amp service. We have a dedicated fiber internet service that provides free high-speed Wi-Fi for our guests. Nestled peacefully in a beautiful valley, the campground sits amongst 144 acres of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hike our private 1.5 mile trail to the top of Buck Hill Mountain that ends at a breathtaking lookout point. Enjoy a lazy ride down the North Toe River on a tube, spend the day fishing in the river for trout stocked by the State Hatchery, or enjoy fishing from our stocked, catch and release, pond.
Guests can also enjoy our new basketball and pickleball courts as well as our recently renovated playground and game room!

We are a family campground nestled in the Western North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains and our camping season begins the first weekend in April and ends the last weekend in October every year. We are available for nightly & weekly camping. We offer level, spacious lots with full hook-up on all sites with no limit on camper size. We offer two pull-through lots to accommodate your needs. We are a pet friendly campground and do not charge an extra fee for your four-legged family members. Please check the rules & regulations for more information.
